Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 2/26/2026


Grime Time Carpet Cleaning and Grime Time Auto Detailing reserve dedicated time slots for each appointment. To ensure fairness to all customers, the following cancellation policy applies to all scheduled services.

1. 24-Hour Notice Requirement

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service time.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in a fee.

2. Missed Appointment / No-Show Fee

If:

  • The appointment is canceled within 24 hours
     
  • The customer is not present at arrival
     
  • Access to the service location or vehicle is unavailable
     
  • The vehicle or service area is not ready
     

A fee of 20% of the scheduled service total will be charged.

This fee covers reserved labor time, travel, and scheduling loss.

3. Mobile Auto Detailing Requirements

For mobile detailing services:

  • Safe and legal access must be provided
     
  • Vehicle must be accessible and ready at arrival
     
  • Personal belongings should be removed
     
  • A safe working environment must be maintained
     

Failure to meet these requirements may result in the 20% missed appointment fee.

4. Weather Rescheduling

Mobile detailing services may be rescheduled due to severe weather conditions (heavy rain, lightning, unsafe temperatures).
Weather-related reschedules initiated by Grime Time will not incur fees.

5. Deposits (If Applicable)

If a deposit is collected:

  • Deposits may be applied toward the missed appointment fee if cancellation occurs within 24 hours.
     
  • Deposits are transferable if proper notice is given.

7. Agreement

By booking a service with Grime Time Carpet Cleaning or Grime Time Auto Detailing, you agree to this Cancellation Policy.
